Thanksgiving break!

Thanksgiving break is coming up! Praise the lord for that! It's a shame that I can't leave the campus until Wednesday, but it's okay. My friend is coming home with me, so she's going to meet all of my crazy family on my mom's side. The only reason I was thinking about this is because the other night I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I forgot how funny that movie was. Then last night I watched Hocus Pocus. I think that is one of my favorite movies. It's not scary now, but as a child I thought that Billy the zombie was scary. But that movie is actually hilarious. Anyways, back to thanksgiving break. I can't wait to eat real food! Then my mom is going to take me supply shopping. I'm so excited! Then when I get back to the campus after the break, my roommate and I are going to decorate our room for christmas. I'm going to see if I can borrow a small christmas tree from my mom, and find some purple ornaments to match our room. I'm so excited! This will be my first time going home since school started. I'll finnally get to see my mom and dad again! That's enough of that, can't get too worked up. So I'll talk to you later on Thanksgiving! Peace up, A-town down! Jk. But seriously, Adios!

Diversity

you know something? Today in one of my classes we were talking about diversity. You know, the difference between different cultures and races. There is actually a lot of differences. It made me think about something. It would seem, that we as Americans are inconsiderate of other cultures. We always make other cultures adopt to our ways and learn to be like us. Using that stupid phrase, "You're in America Now". I mean really? What the heck is that all about? If you're in America you have to speak English? And how we want to get suspicious when they use their native tounges. That's just plan stupid to me. It's like were asking them to forget about their culture because they are in America now. How mean is that? It's almost as if Americans are like spoiled little brats who want everything done their way or else they'll throw a fit. It's just inhumane if you ask me. Of course nobody's asking me, but I thought I'd just throw that out there. I think Americans need to learn about other cultures, that way they'll know how not to offend someone. Americans come off as we "A" holes, we do stuff without regards for other cultures. I really think we need to change how we approach people of different cultures than us. Stop being so freaking judgemental, and stereotypical. It offends people when you speak in certain ways or claim them to be a type of ethnicity that they in reality are not. Like calling a Panamanian a Mexican, is really offensive. And don't just assume because someone can barely speak english that their unitelligent, that's just stupid. I'm just sayin, we as Americans have to get off of our high horses and actually try to be more considerate of other cultures and ethnicities. sorry about my ranting, but I thought I just had to get that out of my system. Just think about what I said will ya?

Dark Knight

I just watched this movie last night, I think I might go see it again tonight or tommorrow. It was so freaking awesome! Heads up, if you haven't watched it yet I'm about to spoil it for you, so stop reading this if you don't want to know what happened! I'm serious don't read this if you don't want a spoiler! Anyways, the joker is one of my favorite criminals in Batman, mostly because he's a psycho serial killer pretty much. And the joker in Dark Knight did a good job of being joker. He was so freaking crazy and he killed so many people, but don't let his craziness fool you, he is pretty darn smart. To come up with such elaborate plans that look crazy is sheer genius. And Batman in this movie was much better than he was in Batman Begins. I got to say, Batman Begins sucked, but Dark Knight totally just revived the people who made Batman Begins. This movie was so awesome, you couldn't help but to applaude after it was over. When you think about it, that's pretty crazy. Why were we applauding the movie like it was going to respond to us? I guess that's just one of life's many mysteries. Then Two Face appeared in the movie. It's a shame that as quick as he entered he left. They just had to kill him off didn't they? But you know what? I don't think he's dead and he'll appear again in the next Batman movie they make. That would be something. The movie opens up with Two Face busting out of his cast or something crazy like that. Then the crowd will be like what the crap! I thought he was dead. Holy mother of crap with crap on top! Well, maybe not those exact words, but you get my point. I just can't believe how awesome that movie was! Man! It was like a freaking marvelous work of art! You don't even know! Anyways, if you haven't seen it you should go see it. But if you haven't seen it and you're reading this, then all I have to say is, what they heck!!! I thought I told you not to read this! What's wrong with you! What are you some kind of rebel, you don't want to listen to me!?! YOU KNOW WHAT, I HOPE I SPOILED THE MOVIE FOR YOU, AND IF I DID THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT LISTENING TO ME JERK FACE!!!!! IN YOU'RE FREAKING EYE!!! HAAAAAAAHAAAAAA!!!!!!!! Later.

Movies

On wendsday I went and saw role models. It would seem that my school can get movies ahead of time. Which is good for me because it's free to watch as long as I have my school ID. The movie was so freaking hilarious. I laughed so much, that I was kind of surprised. I know the previews made it look funny, but I wasn't expecting that. Then on thursday I watched tropic thunder. That movie was kind of slow moving at first but like in the middle of the movie it was pretty good. And near the end the movie was at it's best. I laughed so hard near the end of the movie. Next week I'll be watching Dark knight. You know watching all of these movies, especially the funny ones, makes me think about how people come up with this stuff. I know I'm creative, but I don't know if I could come up with stuff that funny. Then that is the writer's job, and I guess they do need to be good at their job. I know the books and stories I write have their funny parts but they are funny all of the time. I think that maybe I should try to write a funny story, I mean like a crazy story that is only suppose to be crazy. I don't know if that would work well in a book. I know it works in manga and movies and anime, but that's because you can actually see what's going on. But in a book you have to imagine it all, I don't know if it would still be as funny if you leave it up to the imagination. I don't know, maybe I will trt it out. sounds like a plan to me. I would tell you how the movies went but I don't want to give away too much information you know. Nobody wants a movie spoiler. Maybe I should write a story that begins at the end and is an entire flashback. I don't know it might confusing, but it might not. Oh well, who knows, we'll just see how it unfolds. Later guys.

Talent Show

So on saturday, the first of november, I went and saw a talent show. It was good, but started about an hour late. How crazy is that? I hate it when people schedule events and then don't start them on time. Seriously, if you say something happens at a certain then start at that specific time otherwise don't tell me when it strts, just say at seven or whenever we feel like it. Because I like to go places earlier and it's annoying to be there early and it doesn't even start in time. But it's whatever, I guess that is just asking for too much. so anyways, they did the talent show like an apollo type of thing. You could boo someone off the stage and to figure out the winner we had to applaude the loudest for that person or group. Needless to say it was a dancing group that won, but they were really good. There was this Indian girl who did a native Indian Dance and it was pretty neat, at least I thought it was. She got to finish her whole dance, which I was hoping she would, I would feel so bad if they had booed her off the stage. But there was this girl who was reading poetry and she didn't even get to start for real before they booed her off of the stage. And I was like no!!!!!! I wanted to hear it, sometimes people write good poetry but they didn't even give her a chance. So a girl came in with a broom and swept the girl off the stage it was so sad, That girl was the only girl to get booed off of the stage. I felt so bad for her. the funny thing was the girl who swept her off the stage was wearing a dress, and I guess her dress was caught in her panties so everybody could see her panties. I felt bad for her too. Nobody even told her that whole night that her stuff was showing. To me that was just dirty, letting that girl walk around with all of her butt out. It's just a shame. But oh well, that's all over now. Although when the girl had walked by with her panties showing everybody noticed and were talking amongst themselves, mostly laughing. I know me and the guy next to me were talking about it and laughing. I couldn't help it, it was just too funny. I know I know that was mean but it wasn't like I could say anything to her she was up there and I was sitting down in the audience. I just hope someone would tell me that my butt was out, I'm sure by the time she realized it she was completley embarrassed. I know I would be. no matter, that's all I have to talk about right now. Catch you on the flip side! Deuces!

How Halloween was

So I dressed up as a dark fairy and I called myself Kya. My friend had on a scary mask and fingers that were long red and looked sharp. We called her Jingles because she had both of our keychains on her since I didn't have pockets. So we walked around, and it became the adventures of Jingles and Kya. We went and saw Pineapple Express, and yes we were in our costumes. We took pictures of ourselves and just had a lot of fun. I think my Halloween went pretty well. It's a shame we couldn't go trick or treating, although I'm sure we would've gotten some strange looks, considering the fact that we are probably to old to be asking people for candy when we can buy it ourself. Of course free is a better price, but with all of those wierdos out there you have to be careful of what people give you. Like there could be razors in apples or poison on candy. I'm not too sure why people would want to poison innocent little kids. I mean they can be aggravating at times but, I think that's a little too extreme. It's just sad that you can't trust too many people anymore. Too much bad stuff is going on, it's just really sads. But enough about the sad stuff, come on get happy! Was that as creepy as it sounded? Don't answer that. It's rhetorical. So anyways, I've been wanting to see that movie Jumanji lately,I know that's wierd right? But it's just like I can't stop thinking about it. I also want to watch Hocus Pocus. Once again, I'm not sure why I just know that it what I want to do. No matter, I'm sure I kind find those movies and rent them or something. By the way, I started watching the first season of Heroes, and that show is awesome. At first it didn't sound like something I would like but it like sucks you in. Although I do think they could lighten up on the blood and guts, but hey what can you do? Not much I'll tell you that. But anyways I can't get enough of that show, it's just so freaking awesome. If you haven't watched it go ahead and watch it. I'll bet you'll like it. Until next time, later.
